Dr. Deepti Thapar completed her residency in Family Medicine at Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation in Iowa. She was the chief resident during her residency program. She went on to complete a fellowship at the University of Missouri and then served as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Missouri. Dr. Thapar has enjoyed working on the Mainline since 2012.  In November 2016,  she opened the doors to her own practice in Paoli, PA, and is now accepting patients.                                                                                                                      She is currently board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has a special interest in preventive care, bariatric care, eating disorders, and adolescent medicine.

Dr. Thapar is most interested in developing long-term, collaborative relationships with her patients. Her goal is to treat every patient as if they are a member of her family and to help them live a balanced life.
